lyrics
a deluge of elixir pours from the azure
I evaporate and escape from their awareness
I enter ruki, to remind of what she is
The embodiment of omni
Failed savior of the dystopic peoples
It begins to seep into their pores
Astral forms come face to face with them
Creating cataclysm, severing psi connections
Abysses between bodies, finally alone
A regeneration of mens’ phalluses
Descending to reach womans’ hallow cores
And instant diseases spread
Bloodshed begins over green eyes
Overconsumption and greed leads to finiting the infinite
Levitating above the unworthy
In or out of their cages, they’re all the same
Pillage the unifiers, castration
Newly endowed men fuck them to necrosis
Severed pleasures receptors feeling only agony
Allowing them to destroy themselves
Omni approaches, all who see are in awe
You’ll all be forsaken
You’ve besmirch this paradise
You’ll never get another chance
Incinerating the unified land
Salting their ashes, no phoenix will rise
The earth diminished to stardust
I tell omni no one deserves to be one with you
Omni says Part and the whole Life and death
The beginning and the end
The end is the end
And it ends here
I accept
I wouldn’t have it any other way
We became I
And I became nothing
Perish
To never return

This is my favorite album by Mexican death metal stalwarts The Chasm, by a wide margin. All the meandering, proggy excursions of previous releases have been brutally curtailed in favor of mountains on mountains of riffs, and the result is a release that is tighter and more focused than any of their output in the last decade+.
Consider my interest renewed. Patiently awaiting the next one. Ghuughra

This is no mere imitation of what came before, but an honest effort that aims to build upon the ideas which the greats of underground metal laid down decades ago. No trendy bullshit to be found here-if you're looking for something meatier that requires a little more effort to wrap your head around than the dreck you've been hearing lately, this should be at the top of your list! Please, if you love this, go listen to the 2002 December Wolves album "Blasterpiece Theater" - this is less crazy than that, but a spiritual (no pun intended) successor!!! BookendS
