Material D melts
as I melt with it
My Ether floats away
Into a fissured prism
Vibrating higher with haste
Leaving behind my physical waste
Psi connections severed
Mumming choirs ceased
Familiar and safe, my mind is finally mine
Background knowledge restored
What was is gone and can never be returned
Beautiful bright blue being
Panoramas me
Quelling feeling and emotions
Calming my uncertainties with truth
Indescribable, unfathomable, Elysium revealed
Thunder erupts as the first words leave their lips
“Part and whole
Life and death
The beginning of the end
The end is the end
It all begins here.”
Understanding enveloped me
Our only chance was vain
Human life is dust and detritus
I must exchange matters places
Flesh to dust
Reasons were justified
As Ruki is Omni incarnate
A creator sent to save
Her powers were harnessed
Now shes fucked as a sex slave
A Sisyphustic cycle of holy rape
Omni swallows me whole
The forwarding begins
In a new form, to this vapid world
To reduce them all to minerals

This is my favorite album by Mexican death metal stalwarts The Chasm, by a wide margin. All the meandering, proggy excursions of previous releases have been brutally curtailed in favor of mountains on mountains of riffs, and the result is a release that is tighter and more focused than any of their output in the last decade+.
Consider my interest renewed. Patiently awaiting the next one. Ghuughra

This is no mere imitation of what came before, but an honest effort that aims to build upon the ideas which the greats of underground metal laid down decades ago. No trendy bullshit to be found here-if you're looking for something meatier that requires a little more effort to wrap your head around than the dreck you've been hearing lately, this should be at the top of your list! Please, if you love this, go listen to the 2002 December Wolves album "Blasterpiece Theater" - this is less crazy than that, but a spiritual (no pun intended) successor!!! BookendS
